It looks like we may not see
Deschutes Brewery in Missouri until later this year.
Beernews.org is reporting Deschutes is putting a hold on expansion in order to meet local demand. Whether or not Deschutes version of the Boulevard White IPA collaboration will hit our market is now in question. Deschutes has started construction on a brewery expansion, which should help meet market demands.
Interesting... I spoke with the distributor at Hop Fest and he said everything should be a go sometime around July 19th or so...
ReplyDeleteThat makes me wonder if he's not up to speed with the recent news or if maybe they're just scaling it back a bit. He said they were only going to receive two beers at the beginning, Black Butte and Mirror Pond, with additional beers rolling out throughout the coming months.
I guess only time will tell...
