MO Rep Russ Carnahan Supports Craft Beer, Does Your Rep?

The Brewers Association has been generating internet chatter trying to build support for House Bill H.R.4278, which seeks to reduce taxes imposed on smaller brewers.  They have a bunch of economists and people smarter than me who say this would benefit smaller brewers, plus boost the economy by creating jobs.  And maybe cure cancer.  OK, I made that last one up.  Still, regardless if you lean Right, Left, or whatever, if you like craft beer this sounds like a good idea.

While reading more about this Bill, I was happy to see Missouri 3rd District Representative Russ Carnahan listed as a Co-Sponsor.  The 3rd District is in the St. Louis area, so that connection makes perfect sense.  Sadly Russ is not in my district, because something like this could swing my vote.  If your Representative is not on the list of Co-Sponsors, call, write, email, Twitter, FaceBook them and tell them to support craft beer.
